Water Distiller

Purified is not the same as Distilled or de-ionised water and should never be used in an autoclave.

The distillation process removes all mineral impurities and its use prevents many expensive problems in autoclaves.

Reverse-osmosis can be a viable alternative but may need to be plumbed -in to the autoclave and requires a little regular housekeeping to ensure its efficiency.

Distilled water should be used in dental scalers and it is recommended for use in dental cart systems.
